Northern Cass defended their North Dakota State Class B volleyball championship with a 3-1 (25-23, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13) win over May-Port CG on Saturday night from the Fargodome.
Josie Jensen had a match high 17 kills, while Tess Jalbert had 31 digs and Addy Rust had 27 assists. The Jaguars are the 7th team to win back-to-back Class B volleyball championship since 1989.
Rylee Satrom had 13 kills and 13 digs for May-Port CG. The Patriots finish 34-4-1 overall, while the Jaguars went 34-4-3 overall.
Stacy Hanson of May-Port CG was named Coach of the Year and Kelsie Belquist of New Rockford-Sheyenne was named Senior Athlete of the Year.
