Region 2 Volleyball Tournament from Larimore

May-Port CG 3, Hatton-Northwood 0 (25-21, 25-7, 25-17)

May-Port CG showed why it’s the top seed in the Class B Region 2 volleyball tournament Monday.  The Patriots stormed past Hatton-Northwood in three straight sets in the tournament quarterfinals in Larimore.

Senior Danica Hanson had 11 kills and three service aces to lead the Patriots to their 31st win of the season against three losses.  Rylee Satrom added eight kills for May-Port CG with another six kills from Raegen Zerface.

Kennison Azure had eight kills and a block for Hatton-Northwood.  The Thunder’s season ends with a 6-11 record.

The Patriots will meet Park River/Fordville-Lankin in the Region 2 semifinals Tuesday at 5:30pm in Larimore.
