The May-Port CG Patriots picked up sweep over Trenton (25-10, 25-10,, 25-23) in the North Dakota State Class B Volleyball quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon.

Danica Hanson finished with 9 kills and 2 aces for the Patriots who will play the winner of New Rockford-Sheyenne/Our Redeemers in the semifinals on Friday at 5 p.m. from Fargodome. MPCG had 6 aces with Rylee Satrom and Danica Hanson having 2 each.

Megan Clarys and Tristy Kreil had 4 kills each for Trenton. The Tigers play in the consolation semifinals on Friday at 1. in second state tournament appearance in program history for Trenton.
