Mesabi East at International Falls

The International Falls boys basketball team also played an IRC game at home as they took on the Mesabi East Giants.  The game was close early before the Giants found their shooting range as they led 37-25 at the break before downing the Broncos 77-53.  Brayden Leffel led Mesabi East with 36 points and made six 3-pointers. Jett Tomczak made five 3’s and ended the game with 27 points.  After the game, Tomczak said they may have taken the Giants lightly after beating them by 23 points in December.

The boys basketball team is also at home tomorrow afternoon as they take on undefeated Crosby-Ironton at 1:30.
