The Thompson Tommies hosted the North Border Eagles in Region 2 Play Thursday night. It was a tightly contested straight-sets victory for the Tommies: 25-21, 25-21, 26-24. The entire match was even with no team leading by more than six points in any set. In the third, North Border held a 13-8 lead before Thompson rallied, scoring 18 of the last 29 points to claim the victory. Brenna Martin led the Tommies with 15 kills while Dru Schwab added eleven. Keira Moore led the Eagles with 13 kills.

Thompson hosts Grand Forks Red River on Monday on yourliveevent.com, while North Border is also in action Monday, at Cavalier.
