FARGO, N.D. – The Valley City Hi-Liners defeated Killdeer 67-54 in the 5th place contest of the North Dakota Division A boys basketball tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Valley City outscored Killdeer 29-8 in the first half and had 5 players score in double digits. Carson Eggert finished with a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Hi-Liners finished 14-12 overall.

Cooper Bang had a game-high 20 points for Killdeer as the Cowboys goes 17-11 overall on the season.
