JAMESTOWN, ND – Thompson downed Renville County with a 9-7 win in the State Class B softball consolation semifinals on Friday.

Dru Schwab, Sydney Schwabe and Claire Kolling all had 2 RBI and 8 different players scored a run for Thompson. Schwabe picked up the win in relief, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, 3 walks and 4 strikeouts in 6 innings on work.

The Tommies play for 5th place in against Des Lacs-Burlington/Lewis & Clark at noon on Saturday. Renville County matches up with May-Port CG for 7th place at 10 a.m. You can listen to both games on yourliveevent.com.
