Northern Cass vs Oak Grove

Northern Cass won their fourth straight Region 1 volleyball championship with a sweep (25-23, 25-17, 25-19) over Oak Grove on Thursday night.

Josie Jensen finished with 12 kills, 7 blocks and 1 ace for the Jaguars. It’s the second straight season that Northern Cass swept all 3 matches in the Region 1 Volleyball Tournament.

The Jaguars will defend their State Class B championship starting on Thursday, November 16 from the Fargodome for the state tournament.

Oak Grove finished 22-13 overall and Ella Olson had 7 kills for the Grovers.

Jenna Anderson was named Region 1 Coach of the Year from Sargent County and Caroline Puetz was named Senior Athlete of the Year from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood.
