VB: Roseau 3 at Fosston 1 (25-18, 25-27, 26-24, 25-20)

The Fosston Greyhounds couldn’t overcome 18 service errors as they lost their home opener against the Roseau Rams 3-1. Anya Severson led the Rams with 15 kills as Roseau improved their overall record to 7-4. Kara Ulvin added 8 kills for the Rams. Tessa Manecke led the Greyhounds with 17 kills as Fosston falls to 11-3 overall. Lexi Mahlen added 13 kills for Fosston. Roseau won the “B” Squad match 2-0 and the Rams also won the “C” Squad match 2-0. Fosston will hos Ada-Borup-West on Thursday, September 21st (96.7 FM) while the Rams will take on the Green Wave of East Grand Forks in their next match on Thursday.
