Section 8 9-Man Football Semifinal 2 pm Kickoff – #4 Win E Mac @ Kittson County Central

Kittson County Central scored on their first play and never looked back as they advanced to the Section 8 Nine Man championship game with a 34-0 win over Win-E-Mac at Hallock. Chisum Schmiedeberg rambled 62 yards on the first play and the Bearcats took a 7-0 lead just 18 seconds into the game. Schmiedeberg carried the ball 14 times for 158 yards and two touchdowns with all of those carries coming in the first half. The Bearcats scored their second touchdown with 9:36 left in the first quarter on a 25 yard fumble return by Kaden Vig. The fumble came on a fake punt attempt by the Patriots. Kittson County Central led 21-0 after the first quarter and 34-0 at halftime. Braden Faken threw for two touchdowns for KCC as the Bearcats improve to 10-0 and will face Goodridge/Grygla for the Section championship on Thursday, November 3rd at the Fargodome (3:00 pm on 96.7 FM). Jonas Spry carried the ball 18 times for 116 yards as the Patriots end their season at 5-5.
