Shiloh Christian 66, Watford City 59

Shiloh Christian led from wire to wire as they defeated Watford City 66-59 Friday in the consolation round of the North Dakota Class A Girls State High School Basketball Tournament at Minot State University.

Betsy Hatlestad scored 19 points to lead four Skyhawks in double figures.  Payge Schock scored 13, Emma Duffy 11 and Emily Hammeren (celebrating her 18th birthday) scored ten.  Duffy also had nine assists and three steals for Shiloh Christian (20-5).

Jessica Mogen scored 32 points for Watford City, along with six steals and seven rebounds.,  The Wolves (18-9) face Northern Cass Saturday morning in the seventh place game.

Shiloh Christian meets Bottineau Saturday in the fifth place game.
