Northern Cass 3, Tri-State 0

Josie Jensen had 16 kills, a block and six service aces as Northern Cass swept Tri-State 25-8, 25-11 and 25-8 Tuesday night at Northern Cass.

Jensen, a 6’4″ senior, started the match with three kills as the Jaguars took a 6-0 lead in set one.  She had six kills and three aces in that opening set.

Jensen had five more kills and junior Addisyn Winterquist added three more as Northern Cass took the second set.  In the third, senior Ellie Lucas had seven kills–her total for the night–as the Jaguars completed the sweep.

Lucas also had a service and one block assist for the Jaguars, with Haidyn Crockett adding six kills.

Tri-State (0-4) was led by Shali Laurence with two kills.  The Lady Tigers host Lisbon Thursday at Campbell-Tintah.

Northern Cass (9-1) plays at a tournament in Valley City on Saturday.
