GBB Win-E-Mac at Bagley

Bagley, MN — The Win E Mac Patriots were able to stop their losing streak at two games with an 82-53 win over the Bagley Flyers on Thursday night.

To begin the night, Bagley was the one getting out to the early hot start as they would take a 10-4 advantage. Win E Mac would find their groove tying the game up 14-14 a little while later. From there, the largest run of the game was made that essentially secured the Patriots victory. Win E Mac went on a 21-2 run to take a 32-16 lead and it looked like the game would get out of hand from there. But credit Bagley as they would go on a 13-4 run to get the game back within striking distance and only trail 38-31 at the break.

In the second half, Win E Mac would tighten up the screws on the defensive end of the floor and wouldn’t allow nearly as many second chance opportunities lead by Ryan Kangas who pulled in another 18 rebounds. Win E Mac would outscore Bagley 44- 22 in the second half and would claim the victory 82-53.

Win E Mac improves to 11-5 on the year and will be at home against Climax/Fisher next Tuesday. Bagley falls to 4-8 this season and will be at home next Tuesday to host the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons.
