Fargo Man Arrested For DUI, Resisting Arrest

FARGO, ND—A Fargo man has been charged with DUI and other crimes after his SUV rear-ended a semi Tuesday afternoon in Fargo.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Guillermo Cruz of Hialeah, Florida was westbound on I-94 shortly after 5pm when he turned off on the 45th Street exit and was stopped at a red light.  The Highway Patrol then says an SUV driven by 22-year-old Jefte Nzimoto of Fargo didn’t stop at the red light and rear-ended Cruz’s semi.  Nzimoto tried to flee on foot, but several witnesses at the scene helped Fargo Police catch the suspect.  Nzimoto is charged with DUI, DUI refusal, felony warrants, leaving the scene of a crash involving another vehicle and resisting arrest.
