Halstad Community Dinner

HALSTAD, MN—The City of Halstad honored not one, but two citizens of the year at Monday night’s community dinner.  Paul and Carol Walswick received the honor at the annual dinner sponsored by the Halstad EDA.  Paul talked about getting the award.

Walswick told R&J Broadcasting’s Joe Lancello how he and his wife have contributed to Halstad.

The Business of the Year award went to Jacobson Construction.  Peter Jacobson owns the company.

Jacobson says his company is a family business.

Halstad Mayor Darin Johnson also spoke about the state of the city and said things are going well financially with the city being under budget the past few years.
