Mahnomen School Update 

With the first day of school being Monday, August 21, Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek gave us an update of what’s been going on at the school including the resignation of a School Board member. 

There was also an incident at the school that had caused some significant damage that had to be fixed. 

Bisek also spoke about the teacher shortage and how it continues to affect the Mahnomen School District. He also explained how the district continues to combat this shortage. 

Bisek also had a message for parents and students before school starts on Monday.
