Arizona Man Arrested For Naked Self-Baptism In Church Fountain

(Mesa, AZ) — An Arizona man is under arrest after taking “self-serve” a bit too far at a Phoenix-area church. Police discovered 20-year-old Jeremiah Sykes baptizing himself in the nude in a fountain at One Life Church in Mesa. Sykes was charged with indecent exposure and criminal trespass. Charges of resisting arrest and aggravated assault were added after punching two officers at a holding facility.
