Red River Valley Sportsman Club hosting Youth Range and Field Day 

The Red River Valley Sportsman’s Club will be hosting a Youth Range and Field Day in Perley for firearm certification on September 9 and 10 and  is open to kids aged 11 to 15 who are looking to complete their firearm safety course. To participate in the Range and Field Day youth will have to complete the online gun safety course that can be taken on www.huntercourse.com. Wayne Lee with the Red River Valley Sportsman Club explains the importance of gun safety. 

Lee also discussed what participants will learn if they attend Range and Field Day. 

People looking to participate in Range and Field Day do not need to attend both days. Saturday’s certification class starts at 9:00 a.m. and will go to about 3:00. Sunday’s class will start at 1:00 p.m. and go to about 7:00 p.m. People with questions about Range and Field Day are encouraged to contact Wayne Lee at 701-361-8158.
