Essentia Health Joins Clinical Research Network

Essentia Health is now joining forces with the STAR Clinical Research Network, which includes highly regarded colleges and universities, such as Vanderbilt, Stanford and Duke plus the Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Catherine Benziger, a cardiologist with Essentia Health, talks about the STAR Network.

Dr Benziger says including Essentia’s service area of rural communities will be an asset to STAR Network’s research.

Dr. Benziger is currently working on three clinical trials involving treatment of heart disease, diabetes and dementia.
