Red Lake Falls, MN — The Red Lake County Rebels beat the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons 12-2 in the first round of the West Subsection Playoffs on Tuesday afternoon.

There were certain momentum swings throughout the course of the game that favored Red Lake County more than Fertile-Beltrami, including the third and fourth innings when Fertile-Beltrami had the bases loaded each time but could push one run across in each inning. Red Lake County would score in each inning and send six guys to the plate in each frame with the exception of the first inning when the Rebels went down in order.

With the win, Red Lake County will now play Ada-Borup-West in the next round of the Sub-Section Playoffs on Thursday in Fertile, the host site of the West Sub-Section Playoffs.
