Chippewa National Forest celebrating National Trails Day

National Trails Day is this Saturday and Chippewa National Forest is celebrating with a hiking event at Shingobee Hills Recreation Area near Walker. Chippewa National Forest Lead Trails Technician Scott Shipley tells us some of the things they have planned for Saturday. 

Shipley says there will also be other activities besides hiking. 

If you do plan on hiking, Shipley does recommend that you wear appropriate clothing and he goes over some hiking essentials.
