Clearwater County Drownings

One woman is dead and a child is fighting for its life after two drownings over the weekend in Clearwater County.  Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson says the first happened Saturday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as 70-year-old Cheryl Breitbach of Ponsford.  Halverson says deputies were called to another incident Sunday afternoon.

The child’s name is not being released.
