Fertile City Council Meeting

FERTILE, MN—The City of Fertile will be buying more land for the city’s airport.  At Monday night’s Fertile City Council meeting, the Council approved buying land near the airport’s runway.  Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden explains.

It will cost $67,100 to acquire the land, but the City’s share will only be just over $3355, with MnDOT paying the vast majority of the cost.  Liden says it could be about a year before the transaction is actually completed.

Liden also tells R&J News there are no updates on a possible sale of the City-owned Fair Meadow Nursing Home.
