Corn and Soybean Crop Update

The 2024 soybean and corn harvest is fast approaching, and many area farmers are waiting to get in their fields, and get this year’s crop off. Tim Leshuk of Bayer Crop Science tells us how the area’s soybean crop is looking, and when people can expect to get their crop off. 

Leshuk has also been involved in a trial on soybean iron deficiency chlorosis, which can be an issue with the area’s soybean crop. Leshuk tells us more about this trail and what the results have looked like. 

Lastly Leshuk gave an update on the valley’s corn crop, and also gave an estimated timeline on when harvest may start.
