(Crosby, MN) — Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is now offering the latest in robotic technology that helps surgeons perform more precise knee replacement surgeries.

In our monthly update with CRMC, we spoke to Certified Nurse Practitioner Adam English about the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution provides precise surgery tailored to each patient with the goal to get them back to life faster.

Working with Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Eric Severson for 10 years, English says the feedback can help dramatically cut down on uncertainty with previous robotic assistants.

Patient recovery has also seen positive improvements since the VELYS was first introduced to CRMC in September 2021.

This added piece of equipment will help not only the surgeons but also the patients that may have been pushing back procedures.
