Aitkin County Board to meet with HHS during January 25th meeting

(Aitkin MN) — The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners will hold their second meeting of 2022 from the Government Center Board Room to review their LiDAR agreement and discuss rescheduling a public hearing beginning at 9am.

Following an the monthly update from Health & Human Services, the Board will be reviewing for approval matters including accepting donations fromVFW Post #1727 and American Legion #86, an amended application for GIA ATV Funding, an LG214 Premises Permit for the McGregor Fire Department Relief Association, Snowmobile Safety Enforcement Grant for 2022-23, and a license to sell tobacco products to Round Lake Resort.

Interim Land Commissioner Dennis Thompson will present to Commissioners the State of Minnesota LiDAR Agreement.

Auditor Kirk Peysar will speak about an On, Off, and Sunday Liquor License for 2022 for Round Lake Resort, LLC.

Administrator Jessica Seibert will open up talks on approving changes for the General Operation Policy, rescheduling Chronic Wasting Disease/Cervid Farms Public Hearing, the Rum River Watershed Policy Committee, and her Administrator updates.

After committee updates, Sheriff Dan Guida will also take time for employee recognition before adjournment of the meeting.

The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners meets at 9am Tuesday from the Government Center Board Room.
