Fertile City Council Meets
FERTILE, MN—
The Fertile City Council on Monday approved a tobacco license for the owners of Main Street Station and Deli, formerly known as JT’s. Also, several items related to the Polk County Fair were approved.
There was discussion about paving a city-owned lot near Encore and Thrifty White. Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says it would cost $60,000..and the City will reach out to businesses in the area to see if they would be willing to chip in half of that $60,000.
Also, a public hearing will be held Monday, May 22 at 6:30 to accept the low bid for the community center renovation project.
