Lake Park-Audubon School Board Meets

The Lake Park-Audubon School Board held its monthly meeting on Monday.  Superintendent Dr. Tim Godfrey says the Board approved several contracts.

Godfrey says the Board also approved adding a cheer team for the coming school year.  This will be set up with no cost to the school district.  He says there were several other items of new business discussed.

Godfrey says this year’s fiscal year budget will be about $500,000 higher than last year’s—and he emphasizes all of that new money will come from the State of MInnesota and not from a tax increase.
