Ada, Catch the Spirit!

Community Spirit was on display during the annual Ada, Catch the Spirit! Event held Wednesday night. Held at the Ada Events Center, the Ada, Catch the spirit! Event gives civic organizations an opportunity to update on their projects and goals.

LeeAnn Hall, of the Ada Chamber of Commerce and one of the organizers of the event, says it was great to hear from the groups and see the spirit of the community.

During the event Chamber of Commerce Memberships were awarded to 10 new businesses that have started in the past year in the Ada community.

The Norman County Ag Society (commonly know as the Norman County Fair board) was recognized for the Community Service Award. The Citizen of the Year Award was given to Kim Peters, a well-deserved honor says LeeAnn Hall.
