Ada Police Department Reports Uptick in Thefts from Storage Sheds

September 21, 2022 Kaleidoscope News -- KRJB-KRJM-KKCQ 0

Ada, MN — The Ada Police Department is reminding residents to please lock up your outbuildings and storage sheds following a recent uptick in thefts in the community this past month. Ada Interim Police Chief Steve Hager says these snatch and grab thefts are mostly occurring in unsecured, unattached sheds and encourages residents to either secure the buildings or remove high valuable items such as power tools.

Officer Hager says its relatively common for these snatch and grabs thefts to pick up in the fall and the suspects are usually from outside the community looking to make a few bucks stealing anything that’s easy to sell.

If you notice anything suspicious, please report it to your local law enforcement.
