‘AIS Photo Finish’ entering final Summer months with Aitkin County SWCD

(Aitkin, MN) — Time is still remaining for individuals on Aitkin County lakes to combat Aquatic Invasive Species and have a chance to win a kayak or $250 cash with the Aitkin County Soil and Water Conservation District.

We chatted with Conservation District Manager Steve Hughes and he spoke about the “AIS Photo Finish” contest being as easy as sending pictures by email.

To enter the drawings, individuals just have to send a picture of their efforts in limiting the spread of AIS.

Drawings for the kayak or cash are still happening through the summer.

If you didn’t win a monthly prize, the grand prize drawing will be held at the end of the summer.
