Aitkin Chamber Commerce & Outdoor Show cancelled for 2022

(Aitkin, MN) — Another casualty of COVID and worker shortages has forced the hand of the Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce to once again cancel the annual Commerce & Outdoor Show.

In a post on the Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page, “due to public health concerns, staffing issues that many businesses are facing, and the logistical complications of the ongoing COVID pandemic, we believe the smartest option is top keep our finger on the show’s pause button for now.”

We caught up with Executive Director Taylor Erickson recently and she echoed the sentiment of looking forward to 2023.

The Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding their Winter Wonderama event, all day, Saturday, February 12th. More details can be found on their Facebook page and www.aitkin.com.
