CTC CEO/GM Westbrock named to FCC Working Group

(Brainerd, MN) — CEO/General Manager of Consolidated Telephone Company (CTC) Kristi Westbrock was recently appointed by the Federal Communications Commission to serve as their Telecommunications Interagency Working Group.
In a release from CTC and FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, the 12-person group will be developing recommendations that address the workforce needs of the telecommunications industry as a result of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Members of the group represent a variety of government and private entities and will be charged with preparing a report that includes recommendations to address workforce needs and safety.
Westbrock was elected to serve a one-year commitment, effective January 14th, 2022, based on a nomination that was submitted by CTC Board of Directors Chairwoman Kathy Kobliska.
