Downtown Hillsboro Transforms into Winter Wonderland this Sunday
Hillsboro, ND — Downtown Hillsboro transforms into a Winter Wonderland this weekend! The Hillsboro Business Association is hosting their annual Winter Carnival this Sunday, December 11th from 3-5pm with a light parade to follow. This is the 2nd year that the Hillsboro holiday event has been moved to the outdoors. HBA President JR Strom invites families to come downtown for games, refreshments, photo ops, and even Meet Santa.
The Hillsboro Armory will be available as a backup in case of inclement weather.
And around 5:30pm, the light parade will get underway. Grab some hot chocolate and enjoy the fun and decorate holiday floats.
The light parade will start from the Hillsboro Events Center and head down Caledonia Avenue towards the Goose River Bank.
There will also be some opportunities to win prizes this weekend. Strom says they will be giving away gift baskets and Hillsboro Bucks to the top floats, best decorated house, and top photo shared on social media.
