Driver injured in ATV Accident near Halstad 

An ATV driver was seriously injured in an ATV accident that happened on an ATV trail south of Halstad on Friday, September 8. According to the Norman County Sheriff’s Office the driver was heading southbound toward Hendrum at approximately 4:05 pm when they struck a piece of debris that was laying in the trail. 

The ATV rolled and the driver was ejected. The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injury and was transported by air ambulance from the scene of the accident. The Norman County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ada Police Department, Halstad and Hendrum Fire and Rescue, Essienta Ambulance and the Sanford Air Ambulance. 

The victim’s name and the extent of their injuries has not been released to the public. R&J News will continue to follow this story and provide updates when information is released.
