Cavalier 1 @ Thompson 3 (25-12, 21-25, 25-8, 25-12)

Thompson’s volleyball team finished the regular season undefeated in Region 2 play with a three sets to one victory over Cavalier Monday night in Thompson.

With the score tied 9-9 in the opening set, the Tommies went on a 11-0 run on their way to a 25-12 win. Clara Stevens and Brenna Martin combined for two blocks in that run with each girl also adding a kill.

Cavalier rallied to win the second set 25-21 behind four kills and a service ace from Eden Carrier.

In set three, Thompson stormed to a 13-3 lead en route to a 25-8 win…and then took the fourth set 25-12.

Clara Stevens had 14 kills and two block assists for Thompson (29-6, 11-0 in Region 2), with Summer Hegg adding 11 kills and a block assist.  Dru Schwab served three aces, as the Tommies had ten aces on the night.

Rylen Burgess led Cavalier (21-8, 11-2 in Region 2) with ten kills.
