Fertile Beltrami 3 at Win-E-Mac 0 (25-18, 25-10, 25-18)

The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons used a balanced attack and some strong serving to win at Win-E-Mac 3-0 (25-18, 25-10 & 25-18). Kasia Wilson led the Falcons with 12 kills with Tori Erickson adding 9 kills and Grace Proulx 5 kills for Fertile-Beltrami. Emily Strom and Destiny Molstad each had 5 kills for Win-E-Mac. Kiana Tadman had three service aces for the Patriots. The first set was tied at 9-9 with Fertile-Beltrami taking the lead for good at 10-9. The Falcons scored 20 of the final 27 points in the second set to win 25-10. The third set was close to start with but the Falcons used an 8-2 run to help them pull away for the 25-18 win. Fertile-Beltrami improved their overall record to 5-6 with Win-E-Mac falling to 2-8 overall. Fertile-Beltrami won both the “B” and “C” Squad matches 2-0.
