Fosston 3 at Win-E-Mac 0 (25-6, 25-13, 25-11)

The Fosston Greyhounds had 19 service aces and cruised to the 3-0 win at Win-E-Mac on Thursday night (25-6, 25-13 & 25-13). Katelyn Vesledahl led the Greyhound attack with 8 kills as Fosston improved to 16-2 overall and 5-0 in the Pine to Prairie Conference. Evie Dryburgh had 5 kills and Genevive Rue and Brynlea Mahlen each recorded 4 kills for Fosston. Emily Strom led the Patriots with 2 kills as Win-E-Mac falls to 2-10 overall and 0-4 in the conference. Mahlen led Fosston with 5 service aces and Lauren Sekely added four aces at the line for the Greyhounds. Fosston will return to action on Tuesday, October 4th when they travel to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (1480-AM/99.7 FM). The Patriots will be playing at a tournament in Barnesville on Saturday, October 1st. Fosston won the “B” Squad match over Win-E-Mac 2-1 while the Patriots won the “C” Squad match over Fosston 2-1.
