Despite the Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds controlling the rebounds NCE-UH hit timely shots to keep enough of a lead to hold off the Thunderbirds and pick up their 3rd win of the season 55-50.  The Titans did a better job in the 2nd half rebounding to build a 10 point lead, but Mahnomen Waubun hit some big 3s late to cut that lead to as few as 4 points.  The Titans would again make timely shots and would get to the foul line and make their free throws to seal the deal and get the win.  NCE UH is now 3-7 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 6-4.
