Midway-Minto 0 at Thompson 3 (25-17, 25-10, 25-9)

Fifth-ranked Thompson had little problem with Midway-Minto on the volleyball court Tuesday night, taming the Mustangs in three straight sets in Thompson.

Junior middle hitter Brenna Martin had 18 kills and a service ace for the Tommies, who improve to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in Region 2 play.  Senior Clara Stevens added eight kills and 3.5 blocks for Thompson.

The Tommies finished the match with a 12-0 run that included four aces by Jordan West, three kills by Martin and two by Dru Schwab.

Thompson travels to Pembina to face North Border Thursday night.

Midway-Minto is now 2-3 in Region 2 play.
