North Dakota State B Softball Tournament – Thompson vs Beulah

JAMESTOWN, ND – The Beulah Miners are one step closer to defending their State B softball championship with a 2-1 win over Thompson in the state quarterfinals on Thursday.
Beulah scored 2 runs in the bottom of the second and Addison Dale-Geiger was sensational in the circle for the Miners. Dale-Geiger gave up 1 run on 5 hits, 4 walks and 13 strikeouts.
Cindy Eliason drove in Sydney Schwabe in the 6th inning with a RBI triple for the lone run for Thompson. Schwabe picked up the loss, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, 4 walks and 1 strikeout.
Beulah has defeated Thompson three straight years in the State B Softball Tournament. The Miners matchup with Central Cass in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Friday. Thompson squares off with Renville County in the consolation semifinals at 11 a.m. You can listen to both games on yourliveevent.com.
