Hillsboro, ND — The Hillsboro School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Thursday morning, January 13th. At the meeting, Hillsboro Superintendent Paula Suda updated the board on a few COVID related matters. She says while North Dakota is seeing a major spike in positive cases, they so far have been able to keep it under control at the Hillsboro School, but are also dealing with other illnesses as well.

Also at the meeting, the Hillsboro School Board approved some staffing resignations and new hires as well, according to Suda.

And the board received a presentation from their High School Strategist Lance Podoll. The Strategist position is new to the district and Superintendent Suda says they’ve already seen positive results.

The Hillsboro School Board also approved their annual records disposal, pledge of assets, and policy updates. Their next regular scheduled meeting is Thursday, February 10th.
