“Home Is Where the Fair Is” At the Mahnomen County Fair
Mahnomen, MN — “Home is where the fair is” and the Mahnomen County Ag Society is welcoming all to come enjoy their hometown Mahnomen County Fair this weekend. Fair events, including grandstand acts, live music, games, and fair food are all scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, July 22nd and 23rd at the Mahnomen County Fairgrounds. However, Gerri Swiers with the Mahnomen County Ag Society says there will be some pre-fair fun scheduled for this Thursday night as well.
Animal judging will occur throughout the day on Friday at the Mahnomen County Fair, plus there will also be an archery demonstration and demo derby. And new this year is the beer garden, according to Swiers.
On Saturday, Swiers welcomes all to wake up early and smell the bacon, and if they’re up for it, go for a little run.
And throughout the rest of the day on Saturday, there will be more grandstand entertainment, music, bouncy games, bean bags, and other fun events to keep you or the kids busy.
