HOV Recreational Foundation Hosting Winter Social this Saturday at Ada Events Center

Ada, MN — The Heart of the Valley Recreational Foundation will host their 24^th annual fundraiser this coming Saturday, January 29^th at the Ada Events Center. Formerly known as the HOV Golf Baquet, it is now being dubbed as a Winter Social because it’s become so much more than an event for golfers, according to HOV Golf Course Manager Darin Ramey.

Doors open for the HOV Winter Social at 5pm with a meal to be served around 7pm. Ramey says guests will be treated to a delicious prime rib supper and dessert.

There will also be a number of raffle opportunities as well as silent auction items for attendees to bid on. The focus for this year’s fundraiser, according to Ramey, is to help cover costs of a new mower for greens.

Ramey added that this past year was a good year for the Heart of the Valley Golf Course. He says the small-town course was able to draw in a lot of golfers from the big city looking to avoid the busy courses.

Tickets for this Saturday’s Heart of the Valley Recreation Foundation are $50 and can be purchased at the door or by contacting Darin Ramey at 218-766-7161. Your ticket includes a chance to win a family membership to the HOV golf course.
