Minnesota — The University of Minnesota-Extension is proud to announce the return of their online webinar series, “Let’s Talk Crops!” The growing season is filled with a host of challenges, including insect, disease, and weed pests, resistance concerns, agronomic issues, and soil fertility questions. The Strategic Farming program is designed for farmers and agricultural professionals as a weekly webinar to address your crop-related questions in an interactive, discussion-based format. Norman-Polk Extension Educator Heather Dufualt says the program, which begins this week, will feature a live webinar with guest speakers and interactive discussions to address cropping issues, all from the comfort of your home office or living room.

Weekly sessions will include topics related to soil fertility, agronomics, pest management, equipment, and more. Can’t make the live session? No problem.  The discussion-based series will be posted following the webinar to watch at your convenience.

To register, go to extension.umn.edu and search “Lets Talk Crops.” Once you register for a webinar in the Strategic Farming series, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

You’ll also receive reminder emails with a link to the webinar prior to the event. There’s no need to download any apps or programs to join. Simply click on “Launch from my browser” in the “Join the webinar” window.

You are welcome to attend any and all of the Strategic Farming webinars in the series. You will only need to register once.
