Long-Term Facility Maintenance Going to Pillager Schools Spring Sports Upgrades

Facilities was a topic of our conversation following Pillager’s March School Board Meeting. Superintendent Mike Malmberg discussed plans for this year, including for spring sports. Bleachers and more had already been planned for.

Long-term facility maintenance gave Pillager the opportunity to make upgrades.

The decision was made to replace wood poles with steel poles for lights and take care of the project as a whole this summer instead of some parts at a time in future years.

There is the annual Pillager Ed Foundation event coming up featuring food from ProStart students. Out of two teams of students, Pillager took home 2nd place and 3rd place at a recent State competition. Malmberg discussed where the funds go towards and what you can expect.
