MnDOT holding TPI virtual update on January 31st

(Duluth, MN) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding another update on Monday, January 31st at 12:15pm to provide updates on the Twin Ports Interchange project in Duluth.

Currently, traffic impacts for the TPI project include all ramps between 27th Avenue West and 5th Avenue West being closed. Southbound I-35 traffic is routed onto Lower Michigan Street near Garfield Avenue and back onto I-35 just north of 27th Avenue. Northbound I-35 traffic is routed onto the existing southbound lanes of I-35. A temporary traffic signal is in operation at the intersection of Piedmont and 24th Avenue West.
