Naytahwaush, MN — The Naytahwaush Nightriders Snowmobile Club will embark on their 18th annual Hospice Ride this weekend, February 5th and 6th with hopes of continuing to support a good cause and having fun doing it. The riders will begin their trip at Pinehurst Resort and will travel more than 150 miles round trip to Park Rapids and back. Tommy McArthur of the Naytahwaush Nightriders says it’s a scenic adventure that will take them through Itasca State Park and he expects great weather and trail conditions.

Over the past 18 years of the Hospice Ride, the Naytahwaush Nightriders have donated just about $140,000 to Hospice of the Red River Valley. The club has more than 80 members, but will only have about 20 on this overnight ride due to lack of available hotel rooms. Regardless McArthur is hoping for safe riding, no breakdowns, and that people will donate to the cause whether they participate in the ride or not.

If you’d like more information or would like to donate to this weekend’s 18th annual Naytahwaush Nightriders Hospice Ride, contact Tom McAthur at 218-935-5585 or email tomimac84@hotmail.com.
