School Referendum Meetings Wednesday

Two area school districts will be having public meetings Wednesday night about upcoming school referendum votes.  The Hillsboro School District has a meeting at 7pm at the High School Gym about an $11.8 million referendum to build new classrooms near the elementary school and to make renovations at the high school.  Meanwhile, the Lake Park-Audubon School District has a community meeting at 6pm at the Lake Park-Audubon High School Theater.  Their referendum calls for a property tax hike that would be devoted to raising salaries for teachers and support staff.
