Fargo, ND – The University of Minnesota (U of M) – Crookston Extension will host the upcoming Advanced Crop Advisors Workshop on February 8th through the 9th in collaboration with North Dakota State University (NDSU). The workshop will be held at the Fargo Holiday Inn. The annual workshop returns in-person after being held virtually last year due to the high numbers from the COVID-19 pandemic. Extension Educator Angie Peltier describes the joint workshop and how it can benefit those who attend the educational session.

Split into two days, registration is at 10:15 A.M. The first workshop will begin at 11 A.M. on February 8th and go until 4:30 P.M. February 9th’s registration and breakfast is at 7:45 A.M. with sessions scheduled for 8 A.M. to noon. Each day will have five educational sessions, some of which Peltier highlights.

Other sessions include fertilizer recommendations for 2022’s planting season, weed management challenges due to the 2021 crop season, tile drainage, and recapping the 2021 growing season. The sessions will only be in-person, but people can attend one or both days. Workshop fees are $140 per person or $100 if attending only one day. Registration can be either electronic with credit card payments at tinyurl.com/CRECstore. Pre-registration is required by February 4th.
